Time Clocks

    You can now view all the time clocks associated to your client accounts in your master console. You can easily view time clock information such as name, network status, and version number. To view Time Clocks follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your master console and click the Time Clocks tab on the main menu.

    2. A list of all your client accounts (active and archived) will display.

    3. Each client row will display all the time clocks associated to that client.

    4. If a client account does not have any time clocks, the row will be empty.

    5. The following data is available for each time clocks:
      • Time Clock Name
        • Network Status:
          • A time clock icon with a blue screen indicates an online clock
          • A time clock icon with a gray screen with the text “offline” indicates an offline clock
      • Version Number:
        • The version number of a time clock will be listed right below the time clock name. If an update is available for a time clock, a blue update indicator will display right next to the version number

    6. Utilities:
      1. Search: You can search time clocks by time clock name
      2. Background Image: You can apply custom background images
      3. Filter: You can filter time clocks by client
      4. Add Time Clock: You can add new time clocks

     
     

    You can now add new time clocks or edit existing time clocks in your master console. To add or edit time clocks, follow these steps:

    Add Time Clock

    1. Log in to your master console and click the Time Clocks tab on the main menu.

    2. Click the add time clock icon located on the top right corner.

    3. Add time clock screen will display. Enter the following information:
      • Time Clock Name (required)
      • Device ID (required)
      • Client:
        • Client is not required but the time clock cannot be used for punching until a client is assigned
        • If the user leaves this field empty, the time clock will be added under the “Unassigned Time Clocks” row
      • Timezone (required)

    4. Click Save to add the new time clock or click cancel.

    Edit Time Clock

    1. Log in to your master console and click the Time Clocks tab on the main menu.

    2. Click the time clock you want to edit.

    3. The following information can be edited:

      • Time Clock Name (required)
      • Client:
        • You can reassign a time clock by selecting a new client
          • If you reassign a time clock to a new client, only employees that belong to the new client will be able to use the time clock to punch
        • You can unassign a time clock by selecting the “Unassign Client” option
          • If you unassign a time clock, employees will no longer be able to use the time clock to punch
      • Timezone (required)
      • Note: Device ID is read only.

    4. Click Save to apply any changes or click cancel.

    You can now customize the background image of your time clock. You can upload and change the background image to individual clocks when you add or edit, or change the image of multiple time clocks in your master console. 

    To change the background image of an individual time clock, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your master console and click the Time Clocks tab on the main menu.

    2. Click to add or edit a time clock.

    3. Click Change Background Image. A list of images will display. You can select one of the options or upload a new image.
    4. Click to upload or drag and drop an image.
      1. The image must be png, jpg, or bmp.
      2. You may only upload one image at a time.

    5. Once an image is uploaded, you can resize the image. The time clock will display the image within the crop box.

      Click Save to crop your image.
      • Once an image is saved, it is available to be assigned to other time clocks in your master console.
      • If an image is deleted, it will be deleted from your master console. Other time clocks using the deleted image will be updated to use the default background image.

    6. The saved image displays as the selected background image.



    1. Once the desired background image is selected, close the screen and click Save.



    2. The background image of your time clock will update to the image you selected in a couple of minutes.

     

    To change the background image of one or many time clocks, follow these steps:

    1. Click Time Clocks from the main menu navigation.



    2. Click the Background Image icon.

    3. Select the time clocks for which you'd like to assign a new background image.
      • You can select one time clock, select multiple time clocks, or select all time clocks.
      • Clicking on the client name will select all time clocks in the client row
    4. Once you have selected your time clocks, click Select Image located on the top right corner.



    5. A list of image options will display. You can select one of the options or upload a new image.



    6. You can click to upload or drag and drop an image.
      • The image must be png, jpg, or bmp
      • You can only upload one image at a time

    7. Once an image is uploaded, you can resize the image. The time clock will display the image within the crop box.



    8. Click Save to crop your image.
      • Once an image is saved, it is available to be assigned to other time clocks in your master console.
      • If an image is deleted, it will be deleted from your master console. Other time clocks using the deleted image will be updated to use the default background image.
    9. The saved image displays as the selected background image.



    10. Once the desired background image is selected, close the screen and click Apply.

    11. The background image of the selected time clocks will update to the image you selected in a couple of minutes.

    Within the time clocks page in the master console, you can easily reassign time clocks from one client to another; here's how:

    Within the time clocks page, select the reassign button from the top right:

    Once you click reassign, you can simply drag and drop the desired clock from one client to another.

    After you’ve dropped the clock into your desired client row, you can change the time clock name and time zone if you choose to do so.

    If you are happy with the time clock name and time zone, click “Reassign”.

    The time clock is now reassigned and will pull in the correct employee information for the client that it was assigned to.
