Dashboard

    The Onsite Today Widget provides admins and supervisors with information on employees' status for the current day and details their punch times, punch method, client name and more. To use the widget, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your client account, and the Dashboard should display. The dashboard can also be located from the side navigation bar.



    2. Admins will be able to view the status of all employees. Supervisors will only be able to view the status of employees they manage.

    3. The following data is available for the onsite widget:

      • Graphs
        • The graphs show the total number of employees for each status

      • Status
        • In: All active employees who are punched in for the current day
        • On Rest: All active employees who are currently on their unpaid breaks
        • At Meal: All active employees who are currently at their meal break
        • Out: All active employees who are punched out for the current day (these are employees have punched in and out for the day)

      • Employee Information:
        • First Name
        • Last Name
        • Picture 

      • Punch Data:
        • Punch Type

      • Punch Details (on hover of employee):
        • Client Name
        • Department
        • Punch Location

    4. By default, all employees who are currently Punched In will display.

    5. To view the other statuses, simply click on the graph of the status you want to view.

    Filter

    1. You can filter your widget by departments. To filter your widget, click on the filter icon located at the top right corner of your widget.

    2. Once clicked, a list of all departments will display.

    3. Click on any of the departments you wish to view information for. The data will automatically change based on your selection.

    4. By default, all departments is selected.

    Search

    1. You can search your widget by employees. To search, click on the search icon located at the top right corner of your widget.

    2. Once clicked, a search bar will display. Type in the name of the employee you want to search.

    3. If you do not see the employee in the current status you are viewing, make sure to check the other statuses as well.

    4. Closing the search bar by clicking the icon again will clear the searched data.

    The Missed Punch Widget provides admins and supervisors with information on employees' missed punches for the current pay period. Admins and supervisors can also easily view details such as date, punch times, and the department. To use the missed punch widget, follow these steps:

    1. Log in to your client account, and the Dashboard should display. The dashboard can also be located from the side navigation bar.



    2. Admins will have full access to view and edit all employees' missed punches. Supervisors with time card view only permissions will only be able to view missed punches for employees they manage. Supervisors with view and edit permission will be able to view and edit missed punches for employees they manage.

    3. The Missed Punch Widget displays missed punches for the current pay period.

    4. The following data is available for the missed punch widget:

      • Employee Name
      • Department Name
      • Punch Type
      • In/Out Time

    5. To edit a missed punch, simply click on the row. This will allow the user to input an out time. Click to save or cancel.

    6. If an employee has multiple missed punches for one day, the missed punch widget will display a notification that the user has multiple missed punches. Click the row to see the details.
      • If the employee has missed punches from different days, those punches are displayed on separate rows

    7. After editing a punch and clicking save, the success notification will appear and the punch will disappear from the missed punch widget.

    8. If an admin or supervisor edits a missed punch that belongs to an approved time card, the edit will unapprove the time card.
       
       

    Filter

    1. You can filter your widget by departments. To filter your widget, click on the filter icon located at the top right corner of your widget.

    2. Once clicked, a list of all departments will display.

    3. Click on any of the departments you wish to view information for. The data will automatically change based on your selection.

    4. By default, all departments are selected.

    Search

    1. You can search your widget by employees or departments. To search, click on the search icon located at the top right corner of your widget.

    2. Once clicked, a search bar will display. Type in the name of the employee you want to search.

    3. Closing the search bar will clear the searched data.

    If an employee has a username and password, and access to website punches, they will have able to log in to the employee dashboard from the client portal.

    There are three widgets available within the employee dashboard: The punch widget, the total hours widget, and the event feed.

    Within the punch widget, the employee can perform the same actions that they can on the time clock. They can perform in/out punches, start and end breaks and lunches, and transfer departments (if allowed). The employee can type in notes relevant to their punches as well.

    Below the punch widget is the total hours widget, where the employee gets a snapshot of their total hours worked for the current pay period. If they employee has permissions to view or edit their time card, they will be able to click the "time card" button within the total hours widget seen below. If the employee does not have access to view or edit their time card, they will not see a "time card" button.

    Lastly, the employee will have access the event feed widget. In the event feed widget, the employee can view punches for each day within the current pay period.
