Reports

    The Report Scheduler allows you to schedule and receive generated reports via email.

    To schedule a report through your uAccept web portal, follow these steps: 

    1. From the Reports tab, click Report Scheduler.

    2. In the Scheduled Report Name field, enter the label for the report.

    3. From the Report Type drop-down menu, select the report(s) you would like to receive.

    4. In the Email Address(es) field, enter the email address(es) for those receiving the report(s).

    Note: To enter multiple email addresses, type the first email address and hit enter, enter the next email address and hit enter. Continue this step to enter all desired email addresses. 

    5. From the Users drop-down menu, select the users you would like to filter the report(s) by, if applicable. 

    6. From the Location drop-down menu, select the location you would like to filter the report(s) by, if applicable.

    7. From the Category drop-down menu, select the categories you would like to filter the report(s) by, if applicable.

    8. In the Date Range field, select the date(s) you would like to filter the report(s) by. 

    Note: If selecting a Custom Range, select the start and end date, and click Apply.

    9. From the Start Time drop-down menu, select the start time you would like to filter the report(s) by.

    10. From the End Time drop-down menu, select the end time you would like to filter the report(s) by.

    11. From the Frequency options, select how often you would like to receive the report(s) via email. 

    • Once — select a date and time you want to receive the report(s). You will receive the report(s) on the selected date and time.
    • Daily — select a day (or days) and time of the week you want to receive the report(s). You will receive the report(s) on the selected day(s) and time.
    • Monthly — select a day (or days) and time of the month you want to receive the report(s). You will receive the report(s) on the selected day(s) and time.

    12. Click Save.

    The Generated Reports section displays a list of saved reports. To archive a saved report, click the Archive icon. To send a saved report now, click the Run Now icon. 

    To run transaction report data, follow these steps:

    1. From the Reports tab, select Transactions List.

    2. Search for a transaction by entering search criteria in the fields provided.

    3. Click Search.

    Data will display in the Transaction Summary section.

    4. In the Transaction Report Data section, click View More to see detailed data for the desired transaction.

    The Daily Report, or Z-Tape Report, is a summary of sales from the most recent till opening until the most recent till closing.

    You can view the Daily Report through your uAccept web portal. Follow these steps:

    1. From the Reports tab, select Daily (Z-Tape).

    2. In the Search Filters section, select the date, location, and user for whom you would like data.

    3. Click Search.

    The report will display.

    The Journal report is a reprint of all transactions since the last till opening. 

    To run the Journal report through your web portal, follow these steps:

    1. From the Reports menu, select Journal.

    2. You can filter the results by date and location.

    3. Click Generate.

    A list of reports will display. Click Download for the report that you would like to open or download as a PDF.

    The Stock Value Report lists all items that are being tracked in inventory and displays the total cost amount for all of those items.

    To display the Stock Value Report, select Stock Value from the Reports menu. You can choose how to display the list by clicking the arrows next to the column headers. For example, you can click the Quantity arrows to display the items from largest to smallest quantity. If you click the Quantity arrows a second time, the items will display from smallest to largest quantity. You can click Export to export the report to a CSV file.

    The Critical Inventory Report displays quantities of items that are low in inventory. A Critical Inventory list also appears on the Dashboard.

    To display the Critical Inventory Report, select Critical Inventory from the Reports menu. You can filter results by selecting the category and subcategory from the drop-down menu to the left of the Search field. You can also narrow your search by selecting TrackingArchivedAlerts, and All from the drop-down menu on the right.

    You can choose how to display the list by clicking the arrows next to the column headers. For example, you can click the Quantity arrows to display the items from largest to smallest quantity. If you click the Quantity arrows a second time, the items will display from smallest to largest quantity.

    The Liabilities Report is a list of customers to whom your business owes store credit.

    To view the Liabilities Report, follow these steps:

    1. From the Reports tab, select Liabilities.

    2. In the Search Filters section, select the date and customer for whom you would like data.

    3. Click Search.

    The report will display. You can choose how to display the list by clicking the arrows next to the column headers. For example, you can click the Total arrows to display the amounts from largest to smallest quantity. If you click the Totalarrows a second time, the items will display from smallest to largest quantity.

    The Profit/Loss Report is a summary of your sales profit by category, subcategory, and product. The Profit/Loss Report also displays total sales by user. 

    To view the Profit/Loss Report through your uAccept web portal, follow these steps: 

    1. From the Reports tab, click Profit/Loss.

    2. In the Search Filters section, select the date, location, and user for whom you would like data.

    3. Click Search.

    The report will display. By default, profit displays by category.

    4. To view profit by subcategory, click on the desired category. Profit will display by subcategory in the expanded window.

    5. To view profit by products, click on the desired category, then click on the desired subcategory. Profit will display by product in the expanded window.

    Please note that this report is only as accurate as the data that is entered. So, if you are not entering costs for your products, you'll be showing a much higher profit than you're probably actually making!
