Setting Up EMV (MA150)

While you have the option to set up a DHCP IP address, we highly recommend setting the IP address on your EMV terminal to a static IP.

Setting up a Static IP Address (Preferred)

If you are configuring your EMV reader to use a static IP address, please have an IP address prepared that is not already in use. For additional assistance with obtaining a static IP, please contact uAccept Customer and Technical Support or your IT Consultant.

Note: The EMV reader must be on the same network as the uAccept POS.

To set a static IP address when connected via Ethernet, follow these steps:

*Note: Each value above is made up of four sets of numbers separated by a period. Each set of numbers must consist of 3 digits. If one or more of your sets is only one or two digits, you must add preceding zeros when configuring the EMV terminal. For example, if your address is 123.12.1.1, then you would input it as 123.012.001.001.

    17. Press X [X] until you are brought to the home screen.

From the terminal home screen, the connection message will read "POS Online".

Please contact your IT Consultant for instructions on reserving a DHCP address.
